Summer SAT Intensive

Four weeks. One test. A score that moves the application.

A focused, in-person SAT camp built for the summer before junior or senior year — taught entirely by a senior tutor with extensive test-prep practice and a Brown education behind her.

What it is

An SAT-only summer camp, taught by one senior tutor.

Most summer programs cover everything and master nothing. This one does the opposite. Four weeks, one test, one instructor — small cohorts, weekly full-length practice tests, and personal score targets built backward from each student's college list.

Why this works

What sets this camp apart.

Small Cohort, Senior Tutor

Six students maximum per session, every class taught by the same lead instructor. No rotating teaching assistants, no lecture-hall feel.

Full-Length Tests Each Week

A real, timed practice test every week — followed the same day by a section-by-section review of every question that came back wrong.

A Score Target, Not a Score Average

Each student's target score is built backward from the schools on their list. The plan changes section by section depending on the gap.

Strategy, Not Just Content

We focus on the parts most courses skip — timing decisions, question-type patterns, and the small habits that turn an 1400 into a 1500.

Schedule

A typical week.

  • Mornings

Section-focused workshops — Reading, Writing & Language, or Math — with live problem-solving and pattern walkthroughs.

  • Afternoons

Mixed-section practice in small groups, plus one-on-one coaching on the question types each student misses most.

  • Saturdays

A full, timed practice test under official conditions, followed by a same-day breakdown of every section.

The Instructor

One senior tutor. Every session.

Lead Instructor

Lead Instructor

Brown alumna · former Wall Street

Our instructor is a Brown alumna who spent several years at major finance firms before turning full-time to SAT instruction. She has been tutoring the test for years — working with students across the US and abroad to lift scores into the range that opens the most selective American colleges.

Her teaching style comes out of two worlds: the analytical rigor of a trading desk and the patient repetition of one-on-one tutoring. She runs every camp session personally — there are no rotating teaching assistants and no large lectures. Students leave with a score, a strategy, and a clear sense of why each question type behaves the way it does.

Camps are kept to six students per session. Reach out for dates, pricing, and a quick diagnostic to size up where the student is starting from.
