Our Story
Built by former admissions officers and longtime educators.
JC Education started inside admissions offices. The way we work today still reflects what we learned reading files for some of the country's most selective schools.
How it started
From the reader's chair to the family's side.
Our founders met working inside admissions offices and classrooms across some of the country's most selective schools. Year after year they watched bright students miss the right fit — not because they weren't capable, but because no one was helping the family see the bigger picture: how testing, course selection, summer programs, and essays fit together across four or five years.
JC Education started as a way to bring that insider's view to families who deserved it. We work with a small cohort of students each cycle, by design. Each family gets the calendar, the senior reader, and the late-night essay review they'd hope to find but rarely do at larger firms.
Today we work with families across three continents — first-generation applicants, multinational families relocating to the US, middle schoolers preparing for boarding, and everything in between. The thread that connects them is the one that started the firm: the belief that the right plan, made early, changes everything.
